The Rogers & Spencer, along with the Remington model 1858, are the revolvers most commonly used in MLAIC competition.
[edit] Design
The solid-frame construction of the Rogers & Spencer design makes it somewhat more accurate than open-frame designs such as the Colt percussion revolvers. While the rear v-notch sight is integrated into the frame, the front barleycorn sight can be adjusted by 1.5mm left or right, as per the original Rogers & Spencer design. Walnut fixed grips also match the original Rogers & Spencer specs and the trigger is a non-adjustable single action, with a 700g pull.
Beginning in May of 2007, Feinwerkbau implemented some minor changes into the History #2 design, the most obvious of which is the adjustable front sight. See the diagrams below for details.
