North American Arms

North American Arms is an American company, headquartered in Provo, Utah, that specializes in the manufacture of small pistols and mini-revolvers.[1] NAA also manufactures cartridges custom designed for some of their handgun models.
The company was originally founded in the fall of 1971 as Rocky Mountain Arms. NAA was created a couple of years later to continue the development and manufacture of several firearms designed originally for RMA by the legendary Dick Casull. In the early 80s, NAA became a subsidiary of Talley Manufacturing, an aerospace manufacturing company. In the late 80s, Talley was acquired by Teleflex Inc. Shortly after the acquisition, Teleflex chose to sell the non-strategic and somewhat threatening (liability) small gun business, at which point Sandy Chisholm acquired the company November of 1991.
Mini revolvers
The mini-revolvers produced by the company are single action revolvers, which have a spur trigger design and are very reminiscent of late 19th century pocket revolvers, the major difference being the size and the fact the mini-revolvers are made completely of stainless steel.[2]
