Hawaii: Ammunition Restriction Bill Headed to the Governor’s Desk

Just two days before the Hawaii legislative session is set to adjourn, both the Senate and House chambers passed Senate Bill 2845 that prohibits individuals under the age of 21 from purchasing or possessing ammunition. The latest version of SB 2845, as amended by the Conference Committee, provides very limited exceptions to the new age restrictions for ammunition and will now take effect upon passage. SB 2845 will now head to Governor Josh Green for his signature.

New Hampshire: Gun Owner Privacy Bill Passes Senate

On Thursday, May 2nd, the New Hampshire Senate held floor votes on House Bill 1186, "relative to firearm purchaser's privacy". Thanks to the strong support of NRA members and Second Amendment supporters, the New Hampshire Senate passed this critical legislation.

26 States File Suit Against ATF

Fairfax, Virginia – May 1, 2024…Today, a total of 26 States filed three separate lawsuits against the ATF’s new rule redefining who is “engaged in the business” of dealing in firearms. As NRA previously warned, this new rule threatens to turn tens of thousands of upstanding citizens into criminals for exercising their constitutional rights by selling even a single firearm.
