With over 7,000,000 sold, the Remington 870 holds the record for the best-selling shotgun in US history, but has not matched the longevity of the Winchester model 12 (which was produced for over 90 years) Tikka (and Sako) are now owned by Beretta. The only version of the Madsen sold in any quantity was the .30 caliber (.30-06). These were bought by Columbia.
