Did you know?

In 1996 there was a merger between Lakefield Arms (Ontario), Savage Arms Inc., and Passive Bullet Traps Inc., amalgamating under the name Savage Sports Incorporated. In 1888 Winchester and the Union Metallic Cartridge Company bought the Remington Arms Company. In 1896 Winchester sold its share but it's unclear why. Following the closing of Winchester's New Haven, Connecticut plant in 2007, the Savage Model 110 has passed the Winchester Model 70 as the oldest continuously manufactured bolt action rifle in America.
